CWS Software solutions are in use by companies of all sizes. From small start-ups to large enterprises, our solutions scale to fit. So there’s no limit on the number of employees, business rules, regions or roles you can support.

CWS solutions are designed to adapt to each company’s business rules, so many clients find that they don’t need additional customization. However, if you do need something specific built in, our team is happy to work with you to make it happen without a lot of additional time or expense.

Yes—we can translate each view into any language. What’s more, you can enter your own updates if you prefer to state something a specific way.

Security

At CWS Software, we take the security of employee and company data very seriously. CWS conducts an annual, independent SOC-2 Type II audit. All client data is kept secure on our servers hosted by Rackspace, which holds certifications for ISO 27001, NIST, SOC-2, HIPAA and many other security standards. Data is accessed via our web-based solutions using HTTPS (2048-bit) encryption and all data is encrypted at rest.  See our security page for more information.

Full, automated backups are performed every four hours. Backup files are transmitted via encrypted links to servers in a secondary data center in a separate location.

Yes. We can accommodate single sign-on via any SAML 2.0-compliant authentication program such as Okta, Google or Active Directory.

Access and Platforms

CWS Solutions HR software works on all popular browsers, including Edge, Chrome™, Safari® and Firefox®, via a PC or Mac.

CWS products work on any operating system that can run Edge, Chrome™, Safari® or Firefox®. This includes iPad® and Android® and Linux® based tablets. Due to the nature of the screen layouts, TalentComp does not work on smaller mobile devices.

If you prefer not to use a web-based platform, licenses are available to run our compensation management software on your own server. The end user experience is the same whether CWS Software hosts the solution or you host it yourself.  You will need MS Windows® Server with IIS and MS SQL Server®. Contact us for the latest versions. The hardware minimum requirements are dual-core 2GHz or faster processor, 8 GB RAM and 32 GB disk space.

Contracts

The minimum initial term for our compensation management solutions is one year. After the first year, you can terminate any CWS Software agreement for any reason with 30 days’ notice.

Yes. Because we license software and handle all maintenance and upgrades in the cloud, all engagements require a standard software license and support agreement.
